About the Campaign

The uproar and fury which followed the announcement of the European Super League was the tipping point which pushed football regulation into the limelight, however, for a long time the English game has been crying out for better governance and regulation. Countless examples from the collapse of Bury F.C. or Macclesfield Town F.C. to parachute payments between the Premier League and the Championship have left clubs which sit at the heart of many communities in England fighting for survival.

On 24th November 2021, Tracey Crouch’s Independent Fan-Led Review of Football Governance was published, but yet we are still waiting to see any of the 10 recommendations.

Building on Crouch’s findings and going further, For Fans Too, will further demonstrate that football is broken, and fans are continuing to be let down. To fix this, English football requires a suitable and robust governance structure, and a truly independent regulator to ensure the game is regulated fairly.  If implemented correctly per the guidance in our report the game will improve for fans and give them the game they deserve – ensuring football is For Fans Too.
